2. Hosting and server logs

The primary website brozbicki.com is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When the website is accessed, Vercel may process technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system information, user agent, HTTP status and transferred data volume. Processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain stability and security, and prevent abuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.

Under the currently used Vercel Hobby plan, runtime logs are available to us for up to one hour. Vercel may process service-generated data for longer where required to provide and protect its services or comply with law. Vercel processes data in the United States and other countries and uses recognized transfer mechanisms, including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. 3. Contact form and FormSubmit

If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, message, the page address and technical transmission data. The data is used exclusively to receive and answer your enquiry. Depending on the subject of the request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps or performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to general enquiries).

The form is transmitted to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an external form processing service, and then forwarded to dev@brozbicki.com. FormSubmit states that submissions are retained for 30 days. Its published privacy information does not specify all processing locations or transfer safeguards; therefore processing outside the EEA cannot be excluded. 4. Contact by email

Messages sent directly or forwarded from the form are processed in our Google Workspace mailbox. Google Ireland Limited provides this service and may involve affiliated processors in third countries under applicable transfer safeguards. 5. Retention

We retain enquiries only for as long as necessary to deal with them. Unless the enquiry leads to a contract or statutory retention obligations apply, it is normally deleted no later than three years after the end of the calendar year in which the enquiry was completed. Contract and accounting records may be retained for the periods required by German commercial and tax law. FormSubmit separately retains submissions for up to 30 days.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently set its own analytics or marketing cookies and does not use an analytics service. FormSubmit is contacted only when you actively submit the form. A consent banner is therefore not currently used. If this changes, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before the relevant technology is enabled.

7. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the https address in your browser. Email itself may not be end-to-end encrypted; please do not send passwords, payment data or other highly sensitive information.

8. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
